I had a trip to Perris Thursday and Friday this week and the bass didnt disappoint.
My Thursday trip was with Wes. He is from Texas and wanted to get out and learn some deep water techiques to help him when he goes home so he can fish offshore instead of beating the bank like most everyone back there does.
So I met him at the launch ramp on Thursday morning and off we went..
We fished 30-45 ft all day with the Carolina rig, spoons, and other deep water reaction baits and we caught about 24 bass to 4 1/2 lbs.
By the end of the day Wes told me that he had a new found confidence in deep water fishing and he couldnt wait to get home to try out the new baits and techniques I showed him on his home lakes...
Here are a couple pics of some he caught..

Nice Job Wes..
With the better bass being so deep but actively feeding right now, its a great time to get out there with me so I can show you the ropes out at Perris to prepare you for the coming winter season.. We will be having a wet Winter this year and when all of the bass go deep for the winter they are going to stay there for a while so you need to know how to catch them. And theres no better way then to get out there now and gain some confidence in the deep bite because nothing is worse then to be fishing deep during the winter when its cold outside and you have no confidence in what you are doing..
I WILL FIX THAT!!!
