My father, son and I are palnning to rent a boat out of Seaforth soon and are wondering the best time to fish that area! If anyone can help that would be sweet!!!!

I was there yesterday, but it got a bit windy early. Check with Seaforth and see if they allow their skiffs to go that far away from Mission Bay. They do run the Dolphin and the New Seaforth on half days to La Jolla.
Lots of bottom fish right now with a few Yellow, cuda, and bonito on the surface. In about two weeks it should be going on a full moon and I think the YT and Dodos are going to explode. It's best if the water is above 69 degrees.
I prefer using my own boat. Party boat people are different.
