This video was the talk of the town down in Mexico a month ago.

Curiously enough....

I was on my way down driving to Puerto Vallarta earlier last month and stopped over in Guaymas for tacos and a cold one. My buddy and I walked over to the little boardwalk adjacent to the fish factory and we watched panga after panga unload gill netted dorado. Hundreds if not thousands of fish....

What I find disconcerting is the fact that while dorado (per Articulo 68) is only catchable via sportfishing (as opposed to commercially), they are readily available for tacos at any given taco stand. Marlin too!

If you've never been down that side of the Sea of Cortez....I strongly recommend it. One of the fishiest places I've ever had the pleasure to farm fish!

we were also just down in cabo... the dorado's were few in b/w, overall it was a scratch bite just like up in socal... very disconcerting to say the least...
