Doin' da worm thang

I put the flyrod down a few weeks ago to give my wrist a rest. Dusted off the old bait caster and picked up some 7" Robos(I hear everybody talk about them). Man I never realised how many fish where out there.

You definitely got a good color worm there too. :LOL:
I don't believe it till I see it with my own eyes though. :Wink: I think you caught them on the fly and them stuffed them with worms or the pictures. I see right through you!

J/k man, good work out there! I'm sure you'll figure out what's causing you to miss bites quickly. Couple nice fishies. Thanks for the pics. (But I still don't believe it!)

Nice! Boy you got a BRIGHT jacket on there bud! No camo/stealth for you! Man that one bass looks like he needs some help. Skinny and possibly blind. You did get a fatty or two though.

I just picked out some colors that looked cool to me. Good thing the fish like them too:LOL:. Robo MM II and Softshell Craw in the FX style. I pulled the fly stuff out of the tube to make room for the worm bag. Its a good thing as I was temped to stick a fly in the big guy for pics:LOL:.

I was looking for more sun protection and found that Safety Green sun shirt. I feel like I'm bobbing in the middle of the ocean sometimes tubing the east end at Perris.

That one guy had one messed up eye. Using them big worm hooks now I know why. I caught 2 dinks so far that the 2/0 worm hooks came through the eye socket but missed the eyeball. Hopefully there no damage done.It really makes you see how brutal some of this bass gear is. I'm going down to 1/0 and I do grind down the barbs(more for me). 1/0 is still huge compared to what I'm used to. I'm like :Shocked: trying to lip these guys with that hook in there:LOL:

i've been using 1/0 hooks and they been working great. plus it seems like worms(robos) have more action with a smaller hook.
