Hit up castaic yesterday w/ a couple friends, caught tons of stripers on drift and also in the boils. Boils was a bit down from this past weekend but still managed a good number, managed close to 40 but only kept what could be eatin. Not very big but good numbers and some good eating.

dude you could throw a dinner spoon with a hook on it and they'd bite it. i was fishing boils from shore with some other people and we all had different lures and we all were hooking up right away. i was using a krocodile, someone else was using a kastmaster, other people were using plastics, etc.

They were biting anything we threw in the boil that stayed on top - Slash baits, swivels baits, kastmasters. just make sure you through something that stays on top
