Help with the aqueduct!

Hey guys Im just dying to know how you fish the aqueduct, I have been there numerous times, in the phelan area all the way to silverwood. I just cant seem to figure out how to make this work and catch fish! And first things first, I have never seen someone catch a striper in this area out of the aqueduct, lots of catfish but no stripers!? Anyways, this last time I got 3oz weights and used anchovies, and even with the 3oz weight the current still took my bait and just pushed it up against the edge, then while its on the edge it just gets mobbed with freakin algae... So can u guys give me some tips on what to do? and just want to catch a fish!!! Thanks guys!:Big Grin:

What kind of weights were you using? Were they the "no-roll" weights? If you have the egg weights you can put a nail in it and pound it flat. Most people I seen here uses cranks and jigs for strippers. My brother was able to catch a catfish on dough bait on a c-rig. No love for me yet.
