Just got of the Coral Sea. We had a very limited load on our charter (11 passangers). :Surprised: This is a very comfortable boat with 11. Left last night at 9 pm. Picked up sardines then headed south. Started trolling once dawn broke, around 50 miles south of Point Loma. Multiple jig strikes plus a few on fly lined 'dines. We had over 20 albies by 7 am. :EyePop: The rest of the day, we trolled for a few scratch bites. Not much wind all day but did get some sets of chop to 4 feet.
Final count: 25 albies (15-25 pounders), 3 skippies. :Big Grin: I had 3 albies before I was tossing cookies (and last night's dinner)...
I'll go on the Coral Sea again!
