Some of you know the things I am dealing with with my son....memories like this is what really pi**es me off as to the "why"......these are only a few of the MANY MANY fishing trips I spent with my son....I remember when crap first started with him about 4 years ago, and in court...the judge had implied that "maybe I didnt spend enough time with him when he was growing up...." :Finger: judge...that is NOT true.....

These pics are from him at the age of 7 - 9.....they are scans....that is why low quality..

Hang in there GD.I hope he works out his issues sooner then later.
I kinda know how you feel but it was me doing that to drive my parents crazy.
It took me some time as a kid to work out my issues before I got
back on the right track.Maybe it was from my friends going to jail
alot longer then me as a kid and I just didn't want that.I was a
terrible kid in and out of rehab, juvi and camp from 13yrs to 15yrs
of age. I got lucky both my kids are doing o.k. they are 18 and 16.
Good luck man.

Im not a dad at this time but you can only do so much to try to lead them into the right path. From then on they make their decisions as time goes on. Looks like you are doing the right thing and what you can do. Hope the best for your son.

imho, spending time to develope a good relationship with one's kids doesn't necessarily mean bad things will never happen or life won't ever get tough for them... it means that when those rough patches do come along those kids will have a moral foundation and sense of self worth to help see them through. hang in there GD.

sincerly,
A Former Prodigal Son.
