Hey just wondering if anyone has seen this around. Was fishing on a private pond at a power plant in the high desert. Hooked up with this LMB and was amazed at its color. Really light Grey and pink. Maybe the Simpson's do have something right. It didn't have three eyes though. Hooked up with the other beauty one cast later. Let me know what you think.

Kind of a bad photo, being in the shade. Being a fish taxidermist for many years, I have seen just about every imaginable color of LMB out there, from almost all black from clear acidic water, to almost all silvery-white, from muddy cold Lake Henshaw. Your bass don't really look that strange.

From the fishing shows that i've watched, my only guess would be that its because of the areas that bass would hangout, maybe near light colored rocks and in the sun?

Huh? What does that Peacock Bass have to do with the question of Largemouth Bass? Nice pics though... Check out that price!

A lot has to do with the water clarity. The clearer the water the darker the bass get. However if the bass stay shallow year round they will get darker too
