Skinner 8-14-09 after work catfish limits!!

Got there around 4pm, went straight to the channel. Caught my limit
before 7pm. Nothing big 3-4lbs all were channel cats. Also caught 4 striper
1-2lbs. Same setup..C-rig...anchoives.. Bait and bait

Good going on the limit.. It must be nice to be able to get to the lake after work.. It is well over an hour for me to get out to skinner.. That channel is hot for you out there..

Thanks, no time to fish this weekend. Had to sneek in a couple of hrs of fishing to clear the stress from work!! Actualy the channel has been hotttttt for the last 6 months now. First it was striper now it's cats. Good luck to anyone going to skinner. Will be there next Saturday.

sorry i'm a total Noob but where is "the channel"?

The channel run from ramp2 to the dam. You will notice it on your fish finder that some area drop off deeper than others. The fish are in the drop off area. Good luck!!!!
