Hit up Newport this morning. Went out at the worst possible time in terms of tide and water movement. A friend had to work so we had no choice but to go in the morning. I ended up with 3 and popped on off at the beach. My buddy had a rough one and ended with the skunk. Caught one on the creature bait and the other 2 on a drop shot jerk shad. The fish were caught walking the island, didn't have time to take the tubes out. It was super slow but but always good to get out on the water.
