So i decided to jump on the Toronado Sunday and I'm glad I did!!!! there were total of 25 anglers and landed 80 yellows and a couple of bluefins. i was fortunate enough to land me a bluefin for the first time. The hot ticket seemed to be squid on a 2/0 or 3/0 hook and a quarter to half ounce sliding sinker. Great boat and skipper and well worth the $175 for a 1.5 day trip. Meet some real cool people, (Normalfellow and his buddy), nice to meet you guys, and a great trip overall. The weather was a bit overcast but the seas were calm all day. here are some of the pictures of the carnage.......enjoy!

Oh yeah! Was on that same boat and trip. Got me a yellow as well. Great trip cept for the fact that they charged me $10 bucks for the tuna cleaning and then when we got back to the dock, I find out that the fish was not even cleaned. Needless to say, got home and spent a good time choping that yellow up, made a mess in the kitchen, got into the shower and finally take a nap. Except from being overcharged for services not even rendered... Everything was good. One more thing...my thanks to Al (ships cook), great dinner after a good day of fishing.... 8)

That's one hell of a price to go to the cortez on a 1.5 day trip. Awesome fishing to boot! Great job!

They had a fish hold. this was at the end of the trip, someone decided to put their fish in the bag and take it whole instead of fillets.

You crushed it!!!!! Nice work. I fish the toronado all the time with a private oldtimers club; limited loads. Was Al cooking for you? He's a great old guy! I'll be on a 2.5 day in Oct for exotics with the club...cant wait!
