Pulled an endurance mission last night.
13 hours non stop action!
30 fish hooked.
24 or so landed.
Lost 3 more large ones. Two broke off 6lb, one jump shook me.
15 of them were those lil scrappy 10-12" clones.
2 solid 2-3lb fish on the chatter/steez/samurai/ande. No chatter farm jobs!
4-5 more 2-3lbers on the senkos not including big momma.
The rest came on the senko and a huge flick shake while I fished a swimy.
No swimbait hits.

Two of the fish I lost were at least 5lbs or better.

I did land one toad who was probably 6-7-8lbs. I have no scale so no idea.

Insanity! I can't even lift my arms.
Haven't had fishing like that since Angler's Lake was open.

Enjoy the pictures!
I had to stop because I had to sleep and the bass chewed through both my thumbs. I didn't bother taking pictures of 80% of the fish cause they were super dinks. I left them biting... it was WFO all night!

Average size dink about 10-12"

1.5-2lbs?

last super dink picture before I said enough photographing them cause they would not stay off my line!

First fish on my Steez! haha Pulled some drag, fought good!
Booyah Chatter

Another good one. Sorry, no flash. This one hit the Stanley chatter. Inhaled it! The hook was incredibly hard to remove when it was so deep!

Here is "Big momma"
I had no scale. I don't even care what she weighed. She was BIG. LONG too! Awesome battle on light line. Hook perfect right on the lip otherwise I would have never got her cause her teeth were sharp as hell!

Not only was this fish long, but she was TALL too!

Here's a picture of her bucket when I let her go.
Thanks beauty! You made my month!

2-3lbers were pretty common. No break for my wrist all night long.

Another one 2-3lbs.
Funny editing, look hard and you'll see fins.

From then on it was a dinksfest, but they started hitting good again at dawn in the 2-3lb range on the large flick shake flyline.

Another

I'm not too hot on these Owner weedless wacky hooks. I think I like the gamakatsu better, but these do work OK in a pinch, just not as good.

Left and right thumbs are shot. I was begging for mercy!
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/tacklejunkie/Ninja%20Toad%208-6-09/ninja8-67034.jpg

They still would not give me any mercy and kept the bite going strong.
I finally just decided to give in and quit before it was bloody bass thumbs  I was running out of line and fat worms anyways.

Hope you enjoyed my report! No sizes of the fish have been altered. It would have been way more interesting if I landed those other 2-3 large fish! No worries though, I got my fatty!
Stupid sick unreal fishing. Can't wait until next trip already!
Thanks for reading

Hahaha you crack me up dude.
I was trying to get some size reference on that bad girl. Hard to do at night!
Figured the best shot I'd have is to compare her to my lap, like I did with this 6.5lb-7lb (I forgot) bass here..
Seems last nights fish was a little bigger?!

Nice Ninja Sesh. You must have seen 10 coyotes by now? And numerous rodents?

Plenty of animals roaming. You know it all night cause you see and hear them. They're right there with you for sure. Lots of different bug hatches going on too. I always wish I'd brought the fly rod by the end of the night..

Looks like the braid is gonna work out after all! I just gotta stop wanting to cast 5 miles and backlashing it with no spool tension . The steez does good with no tension but the backlash will sneak up on you when you least expect it. Adam(vg) was right about not popping it at all. Lost a booyah chatter on my last 4" of mono leader. I knew I shouldn't have casted it again after a few fish and lots of uni through the guides rubbage, but I did anyways. Serves me right. At least my Uni held for a few fish and the braid let me connect to both chatter hits I got. Looks like things are improving there. Those two set themselves basically. All I did was slow steady lift and reel.

My head is just spinnin' with those psychodelic blurred out sections of your pics. Dude, I am cranking Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds right now.

Far out and groovey, man
