I'm interested in tyring stripper fishing. Which lake would be better and what set up do you guys suggest? Is it to hot that I should I just fish for catfish?
I have a 3 poles 6.6 and a 7ft with 8, 10 and 15pound test and have couple of cranks. Any suggestions would be cool..

lots of algie in pyramid....catfish r pretty good there...castaic would be really good 4 stiper

Take a rent boat at castic, there is a good striper reports
15lb line and 6.8 or 7ft rod are good to go offshore.
Most of them use 10lb line for bait n wait on the inshore.
