hello everyone. Was wondering if I can get some tips on what to bring (tackle) and where to go. I will be staying at Bishop Creek Lodge from Monday 08/10 - Wednesday 08/12 for some relaxation and some great fishing. I have fished the lower bishop creek before but never fished South Lake and upper bishop creek. Any recommendations on what type of bait and setup i should be using and where I should be fishing? Thanks for the help.

I was there at the end of June and just fishing from the shore......

We were using 3lb Maxima........ and simply drifting grub worms
about 30" below a bubble........ it was a non stop bite doing that.

Obviously, there are better methods..... but that simple set up worked for us the whole weekend......

Good luck, we'll look forward to your report!

thomas boyants work well when im there as well as night crawlers under a slip bobber. best bet for me has been getting a boat and trolling the back part by the inlets.

pretty much anything will get you fish there. trolling along the rock slide and inlets was pretty productive for us last time. also, a nightcrawler about 2 feet under a bobber by the inlets killed it.
