Caught this beauty on Monday just below the Monitor Pass intersection. Sorry for the crappy photo quality, all I had with me was a cell phone. I left Mammoth at 6am and was fishing by 8:30am. I had to go to Home Depot but needed to make a quick stop to get in some fishing. No sense in going all that way just to pick up some carpet and drywall.
I estimate the Brown to be about 19-20 inches and 2ish lbs. I caught it on a 4wt fly rod with 6x tippet and a hopper.
