Got thet invite to fish Castaic this morning with Gary & a friend, Gary tin can a little small so my friend agree to fished the Dam in the morning, Gary & I looking for boils.....
We hit the points & cove waiting for boils and after sun up the boil starts......We got some fish on those boils, but mostly dink, I got 1 nicer "dink" with some shoulder......
After Gary left for work, my friend Hai & I jump on the tin can look for boils while we troll....We gor a few more dink on the troll.

We did not take other striper dink, because you all know how they're look like ;) .

Hey Kahn,
It was awesome seeing you guys out there today. Great fish on the Topwater. We weren't able to get a nice stripey on the top but did get a few topwater LMB's and such. I was looking at some of the KPN Topwaters and they are gorgeous. Ima gonna have to get me some.

That was a fun morning as always..
Glad ya got a little more action after I left Khanh : )
A couple notes from the morn:
The micros were blowing up in masses in the middle of the lake....hundreds of them...small but they were going off !
way different from tuesday where I saw minimal boils...
This morning I didnt see ANY striper boils....goes to show that day to day it changes...the shad werent pushing up top this morn...I'm SURE they were there but deeper.
We also came upon a floating dead striper yesterday out with Khanh....
It was an easy 16-18 lbder....it was dead on top with a 2 to 2 1/2 lb striper lodged in his throat with it still hanging out of his mouth...!
That sucka got greedy for a big meal and bit off more than he could chew ! "literally !
That sucka killed himself.....
did he know we were coming for him and comitted Hari Karry ? (Suicide-not sure of the spelling !)
We'll never know but it was a pig Deluxe !
