I am going to San Diego this Saturday. I want to know if there is any bonito running in the Harbor or a long the coast. Or would i be better off fishing the surf.

The bonito were boiling just outside Point Loma on Sunday. The half day boats were nailing the 8 lbers. I went out yesterday and we metered bonito just outside the La Jolla kelp beds but couldn't get them to bite.

You would have a better chance at catching bonito off the end of a pier than the shore. Try Ocean Beach pier or Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.
