im kinda bored with the trout scene so i decided to take my cousin fishing at the ponds,she fished with nightcrawlers suspended on a bobber,i fished with a white and red spinners.

moved down to a littler pond and hooked up some nice bass

it was a goodday fishing but my phone died before more pics could be taken,
fish count-7 bass,15 blugill,2 redear?,1 bullhead.

usmcfisherman, I am into panfish (and trout), so here is the ID on the fish you thought might be a Redear but weren't sure. It is definitely a Green Sunfish. Redears have more of a Bluegill shape, with a somewhat elongated and downturned mouth (for eating mollusks), and more pale colors, with a yellow belly and a red ear. They also grow much larger than Green Sunfish, larger even than Bluegills.

By the way, are those the Buckley Ponds? I have heard of them, and I think seen them from the road, but never fished there before.

ya there buckley and you have to drive far back to get to them.

1st dirt road to the right behind cemetary located by bishop airport.just follow the road down.i recommended truck.
