Got to the lake at 6:45 AM and was on the water by 7:00. It was a beautiful morning and there was only 3 other tubers on the water. Used Power worms, jigs, New Pink Thomas Boyant and Powerbait. I got a bunch of small dink bass and one small rainbow. Dropshotting powerworms was the hot ticket for me. I saw only one group of guys catching trout and they were on shore. The guy that works there was in that group so maybe he had some inside info????? Got off the lake by 11. By this time the heat was on. I wanted some trout but it was fun just getting to get out on the water. Here are some pics but didn’t take any of the dinks.

You were there on Saturday? I'm wonderin if I'm blind? It looks like there wasn't anyone on the bridge? Wow... that's surprising. Thanks for the report. I'm grateful for any reports from Jenks, GVL, or BBL.

BTW ... does anybody try Tfisherman's worms? I used to hammer the fish from right off the bridge while many weren't getting any action at all. Also heard the same for yellow and white Lip Ripperz Worms ... FWIW

It is nice and thick but i didn't see any lilies. Definitely get up there and check it out.

It's a Water Skeeter Pontoon. This is my wife's, I got it on Craigslist a couple of months ago for $50. I have the same one but it is orange instead of blue. I just wanted to test it out before she used it. It's a cool tube, you can lean back like if your in a recliner at home plus it moves pretty good through the water.

I was there on Saturday. There was 2 people on the bridge and that photo was snapped around 7:30. But after 9 it got really crowded on the bridge and along the shoreline. I'm waiting to see a report from GVL. That's going to be my next spot. Too bad you can't float tube there

I have shore fished at Jenks Lake, but then they closed it last year for maintenance....I think I will have to ask for a picnic/fishing trip this weekend.

That lake is pretty nice. Have had 2 solid days there on the trout. All released. I read a post about the lake a ways back and that the water level went up and there was some type of bacteria in the water. The site advised the lake is safe to fish, the trout are ok to eat just make sure you cook them good...haha. And not to get your face to close to the water.....but if someone hasn't grown a 3rd eye yet or die of diarrhea it should be ok. That was also the reason they closed the swim beach down there. Anyone catch a bass out of that place?
