I left with my buddy on a one day trip on The Prowler out of Fisherman's Landing on Wednesday, July 29. We were hoping to try our luck with the yellowtail and dorado. It was my first time on The Prowler. The fishing was good, although it was not wide open. It was mostly quality yellowtail, between 15 - 22 pounds, and a few dorado. Nothing was caught on the troll. My buddy caught a nice 19 pound yt, and mine was about 21 pounds. Captain Brizendine never stopped looking for fish. The crew was always helpful and on the go. The Prowler was clean, and the galley was spotless. We had a great trip, and if you are ever considering a one day out of San Diego, you cannot go wrong with The Prowler.
