Topaz lake in nevada used to have these but I have not heard of any there in years. These pics are from Washington St.

These are hybrids between Brown Trout and Brook Trout. I find it surprising that they can hybridize, since they are from two completely different genuses of the trout/salmon family. They are said to be sterile, though.
I read about them being stocked in Colorado and Utah before my trip there last year, but I didn't see any of these on my trip. I did catch two Lake Trout from shore, plus a Splake Trout, a Cuttbow, and both my wife and I caught numerous other fish, including Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, and Yellow Perch. I will try to post an oldie but goodie out of state report about it soon, with pictures, maybe later today.

SARL used to stock them a few years ago. havent seen them in a while though.

If im not confusing my facts, Those things are hella aggressive as well.
