Will someone help me with how to keep sandcrabs alive overnite? Thank you very much

I use a tupperware with a lid and leave it slightly open,after you catch your bait get some seaweed and put it over the crabs.Don't put any sand and try to keep cool if to hot use some ice cubes in a bag over the lid.
