[/URL]Friday morning and back home from our mini roadtrip down south to San Diego. As Hot as it’s been out here lately we decided to pack up some stuff and head south to San Diego hoping for some cooler temps and a change of scenery. Oor destination was Lake Jennings to do a little tent camping and hopefully some bass fishn’. Well check-in time wasn’t until 1:00pm and we got an early start so we took a little detour out to Lake Hodges to try our luck. We were on the water at around 11:00am, not many boats out so we just took it easy and cruised around and checked things out. Our plan was to throw the Senko for a couple of hours and try our luck. Little Joe had the 5 inch Senko and I had the 9 inch model. Didn’t get a whole lot of action but we did manage to get 2 solid fish. First fish, 2lb’r on the 5 inch bait.
