Headed down to Perris this morning with "VG" in tow along with some inflatables. While unloading we had a new pontuber to initiate that showed up today: "LunkerLover"! Welcome aboard the Perris Pontubers bro. Good to meet ya! After an hour or two "Flying" showed up as well with the fly rod in hand, even though he said he'd leave it at home and bring the worms. Now that's what I call a die hard fly fisherman! haha you rule Flying.

Not all that much action out there today. LL picked one up quick off the point in sail cove before we had a few dudes move in on our spot so off we went to fish "the wall". LL was on it here again with the right colors and placement and had all kinds of fish on left and right. VG got in on the action with a couple small guys in the mean time as well.
I knew I should be fishing the foot of the wall for something a little bigger from my lessons from Socal Bassman. They were really scattered all over today though from 1' to 45' we caught them and I couldn't get on a pattern. I got this one guy about 2lbs or maybe 3 with that fat shad belly you can't see from this angle. You can also see that this was a double hookup situation and LL is holding a fish ready for release in his hand in the background.

All in all I caught 5-6 fish. One 2-3lb, One 1.75lb and a bunch of fingerlings. VG caught 4-5-6 but all dinks and right back in the drink. LL not sure how many he caught but he had the hot worm for today and even plucked one on the yama lizard. Nice work bro! Thanks for coming out to join us at the local bass hole. Not sure if Flying managed any bass but the guy is out there swimmin' a fly around with intent on only using that. Man if somebody got this guy fishing swimbaits, Butch Brown might be in trouble :LOL: Gotta admire his dedication.
Had fun again as usual. I'm hoping somebody got some pics to add but a bunch of little fish so not much porn. Thanks for reading. You haven't seen the last of the Pontubers yet!
