Tied up a new carp lure - don't think the carp like it...

Water is low and Bakers pond is really murky - but the fish are there.

BBL actually encourages this because of the over-population of carp there. They have a carp bowfishing derby every year in fact to help clear out the population. Carp have really stunted the fishery up there... I've even heard that BBL sprung for their own Electric boat to shock them up and net them out. It's helping the whole eco-system up there it's all good... Harvesting carp is helping the lake believe it or not...

Years ago I would watch guys snaging carp at the pudd. They would have heavy weights and super large treble hooks on a fishing pole or a stick. Dont know if that was legal or not but they sure were pulling them in that way.

i saw an article of a guy who got busted... i think in bishop for shooting trout with a 22, they found the trout with bullet holes in his trunk

KILL,KILL,KILL, Those "F'in" carp, I fish Big Bear lake all the time, that's all I see up there lately,carp,carp,carp,carp,carp,Goodguy is 100% right, I give you huge props!:High Five: you are helping the eco-system up there,I wish there where more bowfisherman like you going to BB lake, there are way too many up there, yesterday morning when I was trolling by the dam a boat was anchored, every time I passed them they were catching carp and releasing them,:Angry:,it was killing me!! I wish people where more educated about these lake killers, keep up the good work man!:Applause:
