Hit the uppar again b4 work, the heavy fog layers that came rolling in certainly affected the topwater action but there was still action to be had if you searched it out.

I landed:

4 stripers

2 Largemouth

I sorta felt let down….. but then I had to remember: 6 fish in 1 ˝ hrs b4 work….Not bad at all.

Nothing big as of late but it’s all good…the big D’s will come in time…..this gives me a nice chance to warm up my topwater skills.

Topwater is so much fun and explosive !

Saweet !

Didn’t photograph the Largemouth today since I had to work ‘em much harder and there was precious little fishing time

Only phot’d 3 stripes..
All on the KPN mini topwater shad

Man, even though these fish are small, the level of topwater excitement is second to none, I’ll take topwater action over any other action…hands down..

I love it !

I’m sure the topwater will fire back into regular gear after the fog pressures subside.

There were boils but nowhere near what went on yesterday !

We’ll be patient and await the big models to come up for our offering but till then, at least theres action to be had !

nothing like a topwater bite. Thanks for including pics of the lures. I am still learning how to fish the stripers. I have a lot of lures like those. Look like Zara Spooks. I use those down in the Yucatan in the flats when I get tired of chuckin flies. Great lures. I will have to try them out in the freshwater. Good job.
