I would never eat out of newportits not as bad as you believe. I eat fish from there all the time, been doing so for over a decade. Still have every bit of my sanity and a sparkling bill of health.

Very cool to catch a rare fish!

Water clarity is not a good indicator of safe water. You can have stagnant water reeking of putrid matter, yet crystal clear.

If you think that water is unsafe, then you might as well not eat any legal halibut or sand bass. As well as any legal WSB you catch in the surf. or mackerel, or Barracuda. All of them spend a very large chunk of their lives in the harbors.

thats exactly why I don`t eat the fish I catch.Thats what I just said earlier and yes water quality is a huge part so what your saying is you would eat out of the salton sea??And if so then your crazy

now thats just funny, comparing the salton sea to the ocean. Lmfao

no your saying water quality doesn`t matter so the salton sea has horrible water quality so you said you still eat out of that cuz it could be crystal clear thats wat you said."..you can horrible stagenat water filled of putrid matter yet be crystal clear." NO YOU CAN`T!!!! know what your talking about before you say it

Dude. You need to calm down. The water is fine. i spent 6 hours surf fishing at newport with a terrible laceration exposed to the water. Its way cleaner than you think!

nice job on the catch and havin the marbles to hold it..

Heres a few other creepy creatures one might encounter while out on their escapades
