high output cfls will do a lot more than you think a t5 HO fixture put out UV..there's used all the time from growing and sustaining life in a salt water coral tanks.

ya i looked around clist..saw a few deals but was waiting to here from the dude that posted on here...i pmed him but idk... ill proly just end up hitting up the hydro store if this dude doesnt pm me back.. i can always use the "coil" cfl lights id just have to use more of them like 4 or 5 per plant.. im only going to have 2 or 3 so it might be a good option

Whats your growing area? lengthxwidthxheight. Those will/should determine how much light you need.

proly about 3.5 or 4ft long by 1 or 1.5 wide and about 3.5 tall

With that size/area I could see why you would want one of the t5 setups.. BUT, flourecents dont penetrate more than 12" at BEST.. so that blows your 3.5' height. a 400 or 600 watt on a mover would be the closest to outside sunlight you can do, as long as you can deal with the heat.

Pm me after this for better greenhouse veggies/
