Pudd Redear 7.25.09

Went out with my dad to test our new canoe. Found some nice Redear C&R a few and harvest a few for the fryer. Pops came in at little over a pound. All fish were caught in sail cove on minijigs tipped with wax worms. Also, thanks to some tutoring from Crappie Mike, I was able to hunt down my first Pudd Crappie. However, He was not very big.

Nice, so you caught them all at sail boat cove? When i last fished there this past February, didnt catch jack. I guess the season is in!

I caught another one that size on Monday. This one was C&Rd so they are still in there.
