Arrived at lake 0745 until hour 1200, the heat was almost unbearable, i wanted my kayak to flip over at times. I started at the nearest island towards the shore, natha, other than a turtle jacking my canadian worms. Worked the shore, adjacent to the island, caught two crappies. I saw them eating flies on top of the water. In addition, alot of fish were jumping around. lastly i was using worms, and fake berkely trout worms, all free line.

Great report, I was there on saturday, 1 small bass and 1 small crappie, no pics.... the heat was just to crazy....:EyePop:

also the whole dam lake is about 8-10 ft deep! I think all the catfish are gone.

Drop shot purple robo worms around the boat launch area and structure for bass.
