Got up the hill for some weekday fishing. Hit Boulder Bay late Sunday evening for some crappie, but they didn't want what I was flyin this time.
Woke early on Monday and hit the Observatory. Kicked around from 7 til about noon. Slow action. Hooked into an almost 5lb carp about 8:30am off the dead bottom. Nasty fish but lots of fun to try and land. Took a good 5 minutes and my arms were tired, but I got him. Landed 2 small crappie and had a couple more small bumps, but no trouties. I'll try the dam area early tomorrow - hopefully more productive there.
