The duct can be cruel at times, 1 fish is good, of course we all want more but that way better than a skunk.

Plus the heavy flow conditions are far from favorable right now !

Shad Man 09, thats cool that you at least said about where you were fishing. I have fished off Johnson road before but had no luck. Were you above or below the gates? I live in Hesperia and have fished the ducts and got the skunk. I have quit fishing the duct at night around here because of some of the folks that show up and are not fishing. Anyway that is a nice cat and thanks for the report & pic.

JIG GUY: I fish the hesperia duct like once a week and catch every time. you got to hit the spot where the water goes under ground, it is kinda off 7-th street past Ranchero, near the train tracks. I am there all the time and yet to get skunked. I have only caught catfish though :Confused: I C&R all the fish i catch so they got to be in there lol. PM me and i will let you know how to get to the spot with better directions.
