Green Valley Lake- Finnaly beat the skunk 7-16-09 need help w/ pics

It was blazing hot all week and I haven't been fishing since the week of getting skunked at Fairmount:Crying: So I decided I needed to go fishing some place cool:Cool:I called a couple of friends and we headed up the mountain. We got to GVL at around 5pm and started throwing in. I was using PB and they were liking it. My buddy was using a lure, and they loved it to.. All in all, it was a great three hours (lake closes at 8pm) but I'm going to a free lake next time (probably Big Bear) Total count 4 for SkunkyZach (actually five but he got away, and don't ask how:Angry:), 5 for D. We were definetly happy with our bounty, even with the price ($15) Sorry for so little pics, I was to excited catching fish:EyePop:
Well I'm glad to finally beat the skunk!!!:ROFL:

Thats only three of them in the dish, my buddy cooked two whole, and we saved the rest for some tacos the next day)

The fight was actually a blast. With my light @$$ pole, inexperience, and the trout loving the weeds right on the side of me, it was a challenge.

And for everyone that is Catch, pic, and release, sorry, I was excited, and I was getting rid of that skunky smell. lolol
