Rockfish ID Help

Caught him last weekend off Laguna Beach. I'm thinking he is a copper rockfish, can someone ID him?

i want to say it is actually a gopher rockfish. gophers usually have the blotches. sweet fish!

Thanks, got me looking in the right direction. Matches up with the gophers that i have found online.
