On a last minute whim... The Sierras are pretty indeed but trout fishing is BORING!!! I did have a good time but it's trout!!:D
Fished Sabrina and it's creeks. To lazy to find anything else as it's pretty overwhelming with all the spots you can choose to fish and I wasn't sure how long we were planning on staying.. I wouldn't say we killed it but my boys and I did better then most. Fished the dam the first day.

Rented a boat today and it was slow!! DIdn't take any pics today as all the fish were small and not pic worthy. The bosy wanted to fish off the damn again so we did and that's where they got all their action again. Was ready to leave and the little guy hooks up with this nice grade trout back at the creek!! 18.5 inches and he was stoked!! Good way to end our first visit!!

I threw TB's the whole time and my boys either used PB carolina rigged just casting and reeling it back in or wacky rigged PW's in orange. They got tired of throwing lures or just bait-n-wait but it worked for them!!

Thanks for the report and the great pictures. The boys looked like they had a good time. Good for you to get them up there in those beautiful High Sierras.
Made my first trip to Bishop Creek in 1947 with my dad and many other trips to boot.

Woohoo!!
Hahaha. Not quite the DD lineside are they.
Still some very nice model fish there man.
Looks like you have the fish gods happy with you wherever you go.
Good work dressing up the boys proper and taking them for an experience they won't forget.

I had a great time and my boys were really stoked about the trip!! It's trout fishing. I'm not into it but I still had fun!!

It's not pulling on tuna or tails, but it's also not high-pressure anything. It's a great way to just kick back and relax, and the view just can't be beat. Glad you had a good time!
