so im going tomorrow. probably getting there around 5pm. never really surffished before... what kinda bait should i use? i saw some guy the other day digging up those little critters that dig themselves into the sand and using those as bait.. any info would be great!

This is the reports section of the board so you might want to post up any "Questions" in the SW general section next time. Folks here are kinda weird about that sometimes.....LOL
Those critters as you put them are SANDCRABS and a killer bait for many surf species.
