Hey everyone...

Took my little bass boat to corona this morning with my cousin who lives out there...got in the water aroun 6:50 a.m. and fished the opposite side first with only a few farmed fish on dropshot. Took a shoot across the lake around 9 ish and looked for structure. Well we found some submerged trees (everywhere in the lake...lol..) Started crankin' and first fish ends up being a TOAD!!! i don't know how much it weighed...didn't have a scale, but it was f'n heavy. It inhaled my crank and was hooked with both trebles.

Here she is...!

We caught a bunch of various sized bass today, biggest was mine smallest was a little 1/2 lber on a big crank...lol...

Here's a few of the other fish from this morning...Great Day

Thanks for all the nice comments guys...It was fun day, will surely do it again

TroutDog...I saw only 2 people hooked up through the course of the day, didn't see a lot of stringers. It definitely wasn't wide open, but it seemed like people were getting bit. We were staying pretty close to the shorline the whole day and didn't venture out by the people catfishin' much...

Nice report and pics, very nice bass! I gotta try for them next time out there. It's kinda hard not to find trees at Corona. Doesn't "Corona" actually mean "flooded woods" in some ancient dialect? JK, they're everywhere. Try trolling for trout...
