Probably getting his stomach pumped by Bigred and Geordy!!

I tried feeding an 8" white croaker to a brown pelican one time in Santa Barbara......The pelican just spit it out.......aparently even they are smart enough to not eat the croakers!
On a serious note.....My whole family used to eat croakers every weekend back in the 70's.
They were YUMMY!
MMMMMM........Mom and Dad DID both pass away in their early 60's though........MMMMMM

THanks for the INFO!!!!!!

FYI: Santa Monica Pier is in the Santa Monica Bay and should have signs posted somewhere.
This info is not publicized as well as it should be (heavy pressure from Business groups in the SM Bay area-Tourism). As an x-dhand from Redondo, I haven't kept any resident bay fish since the warning came out back in the 80's. Gleaned too much info from Dept of Fish & Game about contamination of fish in the Bay.
I do suggest going to the Heal the Bay link. If it weren't for this group we woundn't get warnings from the So. Ca. Water Quality Dist. when a sewer spill occurs. There has been a lot of info about the contamination of sediment and water quality in the Santa Monica Bay over the years.

:My Two Cents:
