buying a used kayak

any tips on buying a used kayak? mainly on registration and title, if it does apply to kayaks. also, if i'll be adding a trolling motor onto my kayak, do i need to register it? please help, i'll be looking at a used kayak tomorrow. thanks.

Hey bro if your gonna buy a used kayak check out the brand and be sure to try it out first. Alot of dealers or rental places have used kayaks for sale too (a safer bet usually) I bought my quest used (it was a demo/rental) and I saved over 200. But again just be sure about what your needs are and good luck.

Sorry I forgot if you are planning to use a motor you need to register your kayak with the state. If the kayaks is a paddle or peddle boat you don't need to worry about it.
