I recently purchased a Brother scanner/fax/copier and I highly recommend the unit to anyone in the market for one. Having been the guy who always seemed to have a camera in hand I have had a field day with my friends scanning and posting them on a couple of social networking sites.

Well I thought I would post a few pics from back in the day of me, as well as a few more recent ones taken with a standard camera that just might elicit a laugh or two...some of these pics actually prove I had hair once upon a time and I could have lived up to the nickname "slim" With that said I know I give a lot of my friends on FNN some good razzing and I wanted to make sure they knew I can not only dish it, but can take it as well.....if you can't laugh at yourself don't laugh at others!

Okay might as well get this out of the way first!

I believe I was 15 and this was my first ever albie, cool OP shirt eh!

I have done my share of time on the salt, I need to get back into it more...but damn it sure has turned into a rich man's sport. $50-$60 bucks used to cover you for a 3/4 day trip including galley, tip and fish cleaning! I guess the days of $20 half days and $15 re-rides on the Lenbrooke/Aquarius are over....

Yeah my boy Dodger Doggy has long since ditched the mullet, but yeah "classic" would be a great way to describe him no doubt! Don't kid yourself you could still earn that title yourself!

all this time I thought you were just a truck trout guy :Embarrassed: JK.
Really nice fish man.

Thanks cappo...although the majority of my trips are chasing the trout I still got some salt left in my veins, we'll fish together sometime I'm sure of it!

That's a nice collection of fish pictures.

Thanks Chris. I have quite a few more I might post up, but I didn't want to bore you guys with vintage fish porn

Very nice dude!
Where's the pic of the marlin!?
Nice Silver Salmon!

Much appreciated TJ, always fun to walk down memory lane going through old pictures. As far as the marlin I wish I at least had a picture of the fish along side the boat, but we did the tag and release thing and I missed the photo opp...I think they estimated around 135lbs or so. Those things are fun, but I would rather yank on a tuna myself.

WOW Erin actually can catch fish and had hair who would have thought...And sportin the Dodgers bandana sick man.... its all good buddy

Pretty shocking stuff eh Jimmy, nice job noting the Dodger bandana...when you hand me my money at the end of the season for the Dodgers having a better record than the halos I think you should have to wear it!

That one with the salmon looks like you have to pee.

Yeah I figured that goofy picture was going to get a comment or two

Thanks for the response hughpam.

Thanks Daruis, I try to bring a camera whenever I hit the water...I recall forgetting it one trip out of Malibu and I caught a 26lb halibut and all I have are pics of the fillets because I wanted the crew to fillet it correctly. Someone took a pic and I gave them my info, but they never mailed it to me...oh well! Just a reminder like you said to bring the camera from now on. I appreciate the kudos, thanks again!

"Old school pics" are always fun to look at because you can look back and say "oh yeah I remember that....". That big ol setup was a friend's of mine and considering he caught a 500lb blue the year before on it he considered it a must have on all his baja trips. Thanks for the feedback Red!

Yeah I was definitely going for the Karate Kid look considering we are both from Reseda! I have a few more destinations on my list to check off, but I have been very lucky to have fished the places I have thus far. Thanks for the props buddy.

Thanks Chris, I always enjoy looking through my countless pics I have taken over the years. I am really sorry to hear about your house fire, I feel your pain...given the chance my pics would be the first thing I would grab in the event of a fire, aside from Lil TD of course! Maybe a Team57 day on the Speedtwin is in order sometime soon...I miss fishing with you too! See you soon I'm sure OFG.

I remember you talking about that awhile back, it made me think that conversation when I stumbled on that picture...that was an epic day of fishing with limits for myself and Dodger Doggy, followed by breaking off a 30+lb cat the next morning. Isabella is an amazing fishery, glad you enjoyed the pic.
