quick report
fished the drop shot with gulp jerk shads.
water was fairly clear with lots of debris floating everywhere.
the quality of fish today was the best i've experienced since i started fishing the harbor.

on a side note i met a VERY nice lady who offered her private dock for us to fish on. She even asked if we were thirsty or hungry. :Big Grin:
we declined her offers but thanked her greatly for her hospitality. :Cool:

ended the day with
8 spotties
2 dink sandies
3 short butts

when we were about to leave i hooked into a NICE spottie, he was pulling drag like crazy i had to keep it from going under the dock. then he got hung up on some kelp/grass, i hauled him out with all that crap on and got it to shore but it came unbuttoned! it was a solid 2+ lber!! i fell to my knees and cried a bit after losing it...:Shocked:

Nice job on the fish

You should have gotten her number for the next time you guys were out there. Some of those docks can get crowded

yeah no kidding, i fished passed one that day and it was crowded. saw a guy hook into a little batray but i think thats about all the action they got that day.

im glad that line came in handy! i barely spooled one reel with that line. need to respool soon. so far i like it better than clear mono. :Cool:

Nice day in My other Backyard!!!!!

Now that I see your photos I will keep an eye out for you in my real Backyard if you ever make it back up here for some of the little wilds!!!
