Great trip,
Did the San Jaun Quin from 1,000 island lake till the campground. # 0 gold spinners, Sierra slam in 2 hours, all natural. All released. Saw four nice bucks, at 30 yds. Muzzy bait for sure x-9b. Crowley- Algae bloom heavy. Find the Macghee creek bed in in machgeebay, the lake from 3 to 7 feet of water. Wait till 11 am and it is wide open till 4 pm or until the wind blows u off. All pink meat 2-4 lb. Rainbows. Double drop midge 1 ft. off bottom or inflated 1/2 night crawler, crave gravy, #10 hook. the usually. Great fish, find the old creek bed depresion in the lake. That is crucial. The fishing the next 12 days will be awesome. The guide boats will show You the way but You must bed in the creek bed. No pics, got up at 5 am . broke camp, hit Crowley at 6 am. hit the road at 12pm. it is now 10 pm coma for 8 hours then run a business. Grat fishing , go get em. Bob
