AFTER HAVING TO WORK AROUND THE HOUSE OVER THE WEEKEND AND BE THE BBQ GUY FOR THE 4TH PARTY AT THE HOUSE IT WAS TIME GO FISHING. IVE HAD PYRAMID WIRED PRETTY GOOD LATELY FOR THE BIGGER FISH SO IT WAS BACK TO CASTAIC TO SEE WHAT WAS UP. I HAD JUST GOT MY TIME BANDIT SHIRT IN THE MAIL SO IT WAS TIME TO TAKE IT OUT ON THE BOAT FOR ITS FIRST TRIP ON MY LITTLE RED BOAT.THE GEORDYDINK SCHOOLIES WERE GOING OFF EVERYWHERE AROUND THE LAKE IT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE TO FIND THE BIGGER UNITS THEN ONCE I DID I LAYED THEM OUT LIKE TH TIME BANDIT BOYS WHACK THE CRABS. THE LATE AFTERNOON BITE WAS REALLY GREAT I ENDED THE DAY WITH BACK TO BACK DOUBLE HOOKUPS TO END THE DAY,THE SCHOOLIE SIZE WAS BIGGER THAN LATELY,THAT MEANS THE EVEN BIGGER UNITS ARE COMING,,,,,,,GARY SKULLY HAD THAT LOOK THAT YOU HAVE WHILE KILLING MR STRIPEY ON HIS FACE ALL DAY,,LOL,,,,,t/o

Bob, your killing them!
Those boys are safe from me for a few more months.
But, others are not so lucky! Joe and I took Topless out on Friday.
We went out of Davies in quest of adventure and blood (AKA sandies and butts).
Nacho told us there was a good sandbass bite off the flats, so off we went. After a few moves, we lucked upon a WFO cuda bite! Man there were logs fling all around us for about 1.5 hours. Dam near ever cast got at least one hit. It was truly epic, there were cattle boats all around us. Twice I cough someones Jig on another boat. It was blood, slime, and good times. We did pick up 6 nice sandies as well. Note those logs would pull 40 lb string! So nice to pull on something that pulls back(6-7lb class). I also fought with a 30 lb class butt for a while but it broke more off on 25LB string about 2 ft from the hook! So said.
