Creekside RV park. It is right along the Bishop South Fork. I have stayed here several times. Very family oriented. Has a small general store on the premises.

I think Parchers has full hookup spots as well. Sierra Smitty (board member) is the owner. They have done fanstatic things with the lodge since they took over a few years back. Very much family oriented. Has small store and restaraunt. They also run the concessions at South Lake.

No gas on the hill. Fill up in Bishop (casino is the cheapest in town) I usually get gas at Manor Market on the way up Line St (HWY 168) They are less expensive than the gas stations on 395. Great place for supplies. They have a huge wine selection. I dont drink wine, so I dont know if it is 5 buck chuck or more desirable vintages from reputable vineyards.

If I were going to the Bishop Creek drainage, Parchers would be my choice, bar none. Thay have full hook ups and Smitty runs the place in the best tradition of the eastern sierras. He is probably the best owner since Chuck and Gloria in the mid fifties and sixties. I know from personal experience. You won't be disappointed...

I did find 'the deal' in June, that I didn't know of before. Brown's Town has a dump station and they only charge $3 if you stay there or not. Nice! The Shell station charges something like $15, or free-with-a-fill.

I know, I know, but it's nice to have a backup plan if the weather etc turns bad for you while up on the hill.

If you are up on the hill . Four Jeffrys Campground on Bishop South Fork has a dump station. You have to pay at the campground drop box
