$20 bucks is a bit low for a "good" baitcasting reel. Take a look at Tacklejunkie's ad. He had decent reel for sale at close to your price.

although i have some pricey gear as well, it's not all about how much you pay for your gear. I've caught plenty of fish on my 10 year old shimano tx1000 / walmart berkely setup, worth a total value of like $16. hehe

But i have to admit, it does give you a big advantage. I absolutely love my 50mg/cumara setup. I can feel the slightest ticks

are you looking for a right or left handed reel?
i have a lefty flipping reel id let go for 20 bucks for you. ill aslo ask some friends to see if they have anything.

spooky is the man, you got a sweet reel comming your way.

i agree with the other poster a $10 rod and reel can catch fish, it will get the job done, you dont need expensive tackle for starters and to some extent for life time of fishing.

I'm always open for donations too spooky. :Envious:

I have a rod that cost me $350 and im sure others have rods that cost them even more! But... I guess we all buy what we can afford.
