From my limited knowledge of fishing stripers, they preffer low light conditions and what's better then fishing at night? The stuff I've read, they don't like light especially the way their eyes are situated high on their head. According to Allan Cole, cloud cover, low light/dark and windy conditons are the right time for stripes.

Just under a doobie...

I should also mention, all the fish were released. So they can grow to be doobie doo's (40+).

Nice fishies!
One of these days I gotta get off my azzets and go look for a fatty lineside.

How do you hold a live 20lb striper without getting cut up?
