What are the best trout and bass lakes no more than 1 and a half hours from los angelos

dvl for both trout and bass and stripers
castaic for bass
irvine for trout and mid size bass
silverwood for stripers trout
but dvl is call the jewl for a reason it is a damn fine lake

i hear the average bass are 2-3 pounds and some 5-7

castaic is hit or miss good swimbait fish for giants and shad when they are up are the best the bass will not touch anything else when they ar ee up the lagoon aka the samll lake has lots of monsters in ity drop shot if fishing from shore

Big Bear is usually a great trout lake, been a little slow this year. Lake perris for bass and bluegill.

Better make sure your boat complies with lake rules before you roll, Diamond valley and other lakes require boats with 4 stroke engines only F.Y.I., CHEERS!
