Hi Jig-Guy,

You might have had a good day on this trip as the guys with the jigs got most of the cuda. A mint-green, hand-painted, single-hook top-water swimmer did the trick. Sorry don't know the make. Another guy got his on a 544.

Thanks Ron ,
great report as usual, very informative. I read them all, just don't respond a whole lot. (nice looking sculps by the way)

Hi Megsdad,

Thank you. Good read on your last trip too. With the right set of experiences that gal just might turn out to be a big-time angler-buddy. I've seen plenty of 'girls' turn into young-lady anglers and then develop into really smart/instinctive anglers oft outfishing a majority of the boyz .... if that takes any smarts at all ....... sometimes I think NOT !! hahaha

Hi BOIL909,

I've followed the cuda counts for the last 3 years and the truth is that the cuda are out there just scattered. Schools even OUTSIDE the 4-sisters rigs and who goes there on a regular basis !!

Lots of tonage are still down SD way with all the bait in the water ... I suspect their travel is slow. Haven't got much in the way of counts up in Ventura area as yet so their still hanging at various areas where there's bait and decent water.

Better than last year .... that's for sure !!
