Capt'n hits Castaic 7/1/09

Hit the lake at 4:pm.

Cruised the coves and points with my freswater newbie on board.

Just past Trout Point, saw some boils, threw the KPN shad, dam only LMB.

Moved on toward the ski arm, ended up at the B-l around 6:pm, boils at the point toward Elderberry cove. Launched the KPN shad again, BAM fish on!
Passed the rod to my newbie, and he brought in the Sttriper which weighed 4LB 7oz.

Soon it was time to hit the highway, not bad for a afternoon fix.
sorry no pic , as this was a last minute dash for the lake.

Every now and then i come up for air when I get the chance. One of these days we need to hit Pyramid again... The Pirates will come home to kill.The kids are doing great, I'll put some pics up here soon... PM me sometime. Keep on truckin
